Mike Crawford
Mike Crawford has more than 44 years of experience working in state and local government accounting, auditing and consulting. Mike earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma, in 1977 before going on to serve as Director of Finance for the City of Edmond, Oklahoma. Mike later joined the team of international accounting firm, KPMG (Peat Marwick), and worked with governmental entities as an auditor and consultant before establishing Crawford & Associates in 1984. Mike is the past Vice Chairman of the Governmental Accounting Standards Advisory Council (GASAC) and Chair of its Technical Agenda Committee.
Today, Mike spends his time volunteering as a driver for the Independent Transportation Network of Central Oklahoma which serves senior citizens. He also volunteers for the American Cancer Society Road to Recovery Program. He enjoys spending time with family, traveling the world and collecting and sharing rock and roll memorabilia, which can be seen on display in the Crawford & Associates offices.
